The waterfall Skok is a 25 m high waterfall in the Mlynicka valley above Štrbské pleso. The water of the Mlynica river falls from a threshold at a height of about 1 789 m above sea level and above it lies the lake above Skok. There is a simple hiking trail (about 1.5 hours) leading to the waterfall, accessible all year round; sections are secured with chains. Legend has it that the waterfall originated from the crying of a girl who lost her chamois.
