Belianska Cave is the only cave open to the public in the High Tatras. The entrance is located at an elevation of 890 m and is reached by a trail with an elevation gain of 122 m. The underground tour route measures 1,370 m and takes about 70 minutes; visitors admire sinter waterfalls, pagoda-like stalagmites, lakes and a music hall where concerts are held. The cave was among the first in the world to be equipped with electric lighting in 1896.
